Titanic Panic Meeting Held at Trafalgar Hilton - Hotels Where Bad S%$# Happens

Karen Walker | July 29th, 2006

Located on Trafalgar Square in London, the Trafalgar Hilton was once the location of the home office of the White Star Line who was a shipping company most notorious for building the Titanic. It was in April 15, 1912 that the infamous ship hit an iceberg and sank killing an estimated 1,490 people. White Star Line held the panic meeting that followed in a first floor office overlooking Trafalgar Square and Nelson’s Column. This office is a protected site and remains an office rather than a hotel room though guests staying at the Trafalgar Hilton can visit the office if they ask politely.
