Rarotonga

Katie Lockhart | December 16th, 2006

The Rarotongan aesthetic is all about symmetry and colour. In fact their use of colour was so unusual I found myself in the local paint shop asking for a paint chart. As it turns out the most popular colour this year is Taubmans ‘French Mauve.’ This aesthetic combined with the simplicity of island life - two buses - clockwise and anticlockwise, had me totally bewitched.
