Eateries We Love - The Book Kitchen

Murray Bevan | June 13th, 2010

The Book Kitchen was just one of a long list of recommendations I was given recently when I traveled to Sydney for Australian Fashion Week, and it turned out to be a real gem.

It’s a cute little spot, just across the road from The Bourke Street Bakery. Bourke Street and Crown Street in Surry Hills seems to be thriving right now, with little organic lunch bars, delicatesans, Thai and Japanese restaurants, pizza parlours and chic, subdued bars popping up everywhere.

Visit The Book Kitchen and be surrounded by floor-to-ceiling cook books that you can peruse and buy, and try their trout, poached egg, olive and avocado salad with an organic lemonade. Yum.
