Swimming in Slovenia

I’ve just arrived home from Slovenia where the swimming was amazing. It seems the Slovenians share with me a similar enthusiasm for hurling oneself into the water. The lakes and rivers are exquisite - I’m tempted to say they’re even more beautiful than what we have back home in New Zealand. What I most appreciated however were the many different spring boarding contraptions located in these exquisite locations. A trampoline attached to the end of a jetty, a floating trampoline built into an inflated donut and a diving board fixed into rocks 4 or 5 metres above the river turned my stay in the Bohinj region into a swimming safari, albeit a rather ungraceful one on my part.
