Alice Needs A Nicotine Patch

We didn’t do it, but we think we saw who did.
But then again, if you’d been freaked out by a red queen, you might need a quiet puff to calm down too.
We found Alice at Antony, a grand old house in Cornwall that Tim Burton used as a location. After we’d partaken of a Mad Hatter’s tea party (nothing mad about the tea, actually, and the nice cakes had little red hearts on them), we followed a journey through the grounds inspired by Wonderland. A bit disappointed that we didn’t get to puff on the caterpillar’s hookah, although the Cheshire Cat instillation hidden in a yew tree was nicely creepy and we liked the checker board mowed into the grass and the white rabbit’s backwards clock. Alas we were a bit too grown up to slide down the rabbit hole. (Under 10s were having a whole lot of fun doing that).
