Obviously there are thousands of restaurants in London. Surprisingly few that are sensational though. One of my absolute favourites is The Ivy. A London institution; The Ivy’s great for its timelessness; it’s never in or out of fashion, it just IS. The food’s sensational – a chic take on classic English fare. The setting’s gorgeous, cosy, woody and golden. Plus, there’s the celebrity factor - always one in the room. It’s popular, so, unless you have a connection there, book well in advance, like months in advance, or you’ll end up eating at 5.30 in the afternoon in a table way out on the edge of Siberia.
