If you ever find yourself in Nelson, perhaps on a wine tour in the region, make sure you have dinner at Hopgood’s in Trafalgar Street. A chic little gem in a rather sweet little street. The menu is elegant and well thought through without being too tricky – the twice baked mushroom and goat’s cheese soufflé a particular highlight for me. A must for whenever you’re in the region.
