Hermès may have been founded in 1837, making it one of the world’s oldest luxury brands, but what we love - we love love love - is that it is so modern. We thought the flagship store at Faubourg St Honore Paris was a contender for our favourite place on earth, but now, we kind of like the Sevres store, on the Left Bank, even more - especially as it has a café, so even though we can’t afford a Birkin, we can stump up for a fragrant cup of tea.
