This is the first Henry Beguelin flagship store to open in Seoul Korea. The area is called Apgujung-Dong the most sought after borough where all the rich and famous goes shopping, lunching and has the most cosmetic surgeries then any where in the whole country.
Henry Beguelin has been producing luxury leather goods since the early 80’s. With keeping their tradition by producing everything 100% Handmade from treating the leather to the stick man stitched onto every product.
One particular bag is also known as Nam-Joo Kim bag named after a very popular Korean actress. This bag was shown in a Korean hit drama called “My Husband Got A Family” it was an instant hit and soon sold out in every store. It’s interesting how
Walking into the store what it looks like from the outside is a huge metal box. The whole building is boxed into another box. Surprisingly it’s cosy inside with warm lighting and spacious floor area. Every product is carefully placed on to custom-made metal shelves suspended from ceiling echoing the outer shell of the building. On the top floor there is HB SALONI where you can sample finest imported Italian coffee surrounded by art pieces such as Damien Hirst. Little bird tells me there is a plan for a HB Café in the near future.
